While these questions are important, might it be more helpful to reframe the questions in terms of more fundamental questions. This reflection focuses on what those questions may be and how they may continue to provide motivation and direction to foster authentic and genuine engagement with the world.

This requires both mental and emotional strength as well as the help of friends and family. In the Gospel of Mary, Mary Magdalene must first accept the departure of Jesus. Then, she must follow his wish to instruct the apostles and charge them to go forth and spread his message, overcoming their overt skepticism in following orders from a woman. Her actions show a firm resilience that allows a friend to support her.
