About Us

What do Thomas Jefferson, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Susan B. Anthony
and Frank Lloyd Wright all have in common?

All were Unitarian Universalists!

Our Seven Principles:
As Unitarian Universalists We Believe In...

• The inherent dignity and worth
of every person.

• Justice, equality & compassion in
 human relations.

•Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth
in our congregation.

• A free and responsible search for
truth and  meaning.

• The right of conscience & the use of the democratic process within our congregation and in society at large.

• The goal of a world community with peace, liberty and justice for all.

• Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.

Unitarian Universalist Association

We are members of a liberal religion born of the Jewish and Christian traditions. Our rich heritage, dating back hundreds of years includes courageous individuals who struggled for freedom in thought and faith. We are reminded to keep open minds to the religious questions people have wrestled with in all times and places. Because we believe religious authority lies not in a single book or person, but in ourselves, with enrichment from many traditions. we help each other challenge and give expression to our beliefs.

The Green Bay Area Unitarian Universalist Fellowship joins more than one thousand congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association internationally. Services of the Fellowship are held Sunday at 10:00 AM year round. An elected board of trustees meets monthly to conduct the business of the fellowship. All members and friends are welcome to share talents and input as they are able.

The Fellowship joins together with shared joys and concerns. In a circle of caring, lives are shared and friendships are made. We value children, and in weekly religious education classes we draw from the philosophy of many religions to teach acceptance, honor diversity and reinforce the Unitarian Universalist principles.

Unitarian Universalism reminds us that we are not sufficient unto ourselves but we are interdependent. We strive to be of service to the needs of our community by pursuing various social action concerns.

We welcome you, whoever you are, whatever tradition, gender, race, sexual orientation, or age you represent. The best way to learn about us is to come, see, think and explore with us. Come as you are - a warm welcome awaits.

The mission of this fellowship is to grow a welcoming and caring spiritual community of all ages that supports one another in seeking and understanding truth and beauty.

We unite in freedom and acceptance for worship, religious education, social justice and spiritual growth.
